B481 Doppler Radar HPI
The Doppler principle states that a reflected radar signal from a projectile will be frequency-shifted by a value fd relative to the transmitter frequency f0, and that the frequency shift will be proportional to the radial velocity v of the projectile relative to the antenna.
The mathematical relation is: fd=(2* f0 * v) / c. Where: fd is the Doppler frequency; F0 is the transmitter frequency of the radar antenna unit; v is the radial velocity of the projectile; c is the speed of light.
HPI have used these principals and years of ballistics application knowledge to develop their 2nd generation Doppler Radar solution, great emphasis was placed on giving the customer the features , functionality and reliability needed whilst offering a value for money solution to their application needs.
