B202 Calibration Set HPI
The B202 Calibration Set is a high precision instrument for calibration and simulation of complex ballistic phenomena. Only regular calibration of charge amplifiers and time counters of Ballistic Measuring Equipment ensures accurate results. It is also a vital tool for cost-effective function tests and training purposes of measuring systems including software by simulating ballistic phenomena.
Up to 8 different set-ups enable a variety of calibration or simulation tasks such as high accuracy pressure curves and time sequences. The B202 Calibration Set is not limited to monitor HPI instruments only but can also be used for all other measuring systems of its kind.
A basic set-up of all system parameters is stored as "Factory Setup" with the following signals:
- Rectangle calibration curve
- Gas pressure curve
- Time sequences
- Ramp
- Rate of fire
- Insulation measurement
For calibration the precise rectangle calibration curve and for simulation and function tests the gas pressure curve or ramp should be selected. The reference capacitor has to be connected directly to the charge measuring device to be calibrated or tested. By this means, the voltage signal supplied by the B202 Calibration Set is converted into a charge signal. Four time signals, independent of each other, allow the simulation of interior and exterior ballistic times and velocities.
